The company was founded by Rachel Simpson who was joined in 2003 by Jamie Gamble. They have a design and construction background and have built a highly competent team of specialists whose services range from site surveying and installation to design and manufacturing.
Our frameless and semi-frameless glass screens and doors for showers and baths are designed and custom-made in the UK using the highest quality components and seals. Glass is locally supplied and processed with exceptional finish before being toughened to the current industry standard – EN12150. Because of the bespoke nature of our frameless shower and bath screens, clients often turn to us when they have an unusual brief that requires both imagination and innovation: a shower under sloping ceiling, end of a bath, floor to ceiling glass … the list is endless.
We work for bespoke house builders and specialist building contractors, architects, interior designers, plumbers and bathroom retail outlets as well as private individuals.
As the UK’s leading contractor and manufacturer of frameless shower screens and bath enclosures, we take health and safety very seriously indeed. We are pleased to say our meticulous and safety-conscious approach has now achieved industry recognition with the awarding of the nationally recognised SMAS Worksafe Certificate.
SMAS (Safety Management Advisory Services) is a registered member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Forum, an umbrella organisation promoting higher standards of health and safety for contractors and consultants. Our SMAS certification will therefore not only give a guarantee of health and safety competence to employees and suppliers but also demonstrate to our clients that we are serious about safety: reassuring, for example, when we are installing a supersize frameless glass screen in a challenging space.
Health and safety has been central to Showerpower’s culture since the company was founded over 25 years ago – but it’s good to have official recognition of that commitment. We’ll be displaying our SMAS certificate and logo with pride.
