The new owner of the large Victorian house overlooking the village was very pleased to bump into one of the directors of Showerpower™ whilst out walking earlier this year. The conversation soon got around to the works being carried out to his new house and he was very pleased when he learned how Showerpower could assist in the extensive refurbishment of his largely untouched (since the 70s) home. He hadn’t realised that such specialist companies such as Showerpower were so close by and he was interested in commissioning some odd-sized made to measure glass panels for this newly constructed bathrooms.
It turned out that his key reason for purchasing from Showerpower was the fact that we were a local company providing product from the UK, a rare thing these days but it seems things are changing. Increasingly, both businesses and consumers are appreciating the positive effect of buying British on the economy, security of supply, ethical factors and pride of ownership and are asking where their purchases originate. Thankfully, we are happy to inform them that our glass is locally produced and processed, components are UK supplied and we don’t have to wait an age for the next load of doors to be delivered into the docks!
